About Primerano Wines

Antonio Primerano established the winery and vineyard in 1995. The first plantings were Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. After a number of years Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio were added.

The combination of the proximity to the silt banks of the King River, surrounding mountain peaks, red earth and hot Australian sun ripens the grapes to perfection. Primerano Wines utilises the natural advantages of the Australian lanscape together with skilled viticulture to produce wines with intense flavour and colour. The Australian landscape and climate is to viticulture "an inspiration".
